Help Identifying German Makers Mark LM?

Post by Henrybear »

Hi,

Great Site, big step, this is my first post so hope no one slaps my wrists too hard if I do anything wrong.

I did wonder if this was the German Laurin mark as it looks very similar however, I think it is a maker mark. The letter 'LM' I think?? in a shield shape with the words 'HANDARBEIT' for hand made? I think it dates from around 1940s as it is on a silver coral bracelet of foliate design with wirework and leaves. It is a nicely made piece and I wondered if anyone could help with the maker.

Any info welcome, thanks : )

Would also appreciate a kind soul pointing me to the 'edit' button as described in FAQs which I can't seem to find anywhere so I can edit my post correctly. Many thanks Henry.
