I also wonder what country used SIL markings during WW2.
Like this one:

It's on WW2 Polish Army in Exile badge so probably it's British.

This is unidentified markings:

Letters M and G in separate diamonds + SIL (Silver?).

The markings is on WW2 Polish Army in Exile parachute badge - private purchase.

I am looking for information on possible maker.
