Help identifying a hallmark (possibly silver?)

Post by HootyMcOwlface »

I have been scouring this website and the rest of the internet and have been unsuccessful in my search. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what these hallmarks mean.
It has two marks, the first seems to be an encircled four leaf clover and the second and encircled "90".

Hi Trev,

Thanks so much for your help! This is the first time I've posted on any forum, so I'm a complete novice.

Here (hopefully) are the images of the items in question. They each have the same markings, but it's clearer on the one in the picture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks,
Chris.

Hi Chris,

I believe that's a product of a German company called Kleeblatt. If you Google 'Kleeblatt Besteck' you will find other examples.

They will be silver plated. To understand the '90', see: http://www.925-1000.com/a_platenumbers.html
