Hi,
I've an interesting jug with what I believe are Walker and Hall marks but am puzzled about the date.
Would be obliged if anyone can tell me.
Also, does this design have a name?

I'd be grateful for any advice
Many thanks

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your are far more likely to get a response if you embed your images as very few people will click on such links.

ah, OK, I'll try again:

and
https://www.flickr.com/photos/50003434@ ... ed-public/

hope that works! If not I've done it as an Img rather than as a URL. I've no idea what is the difference, but maybe one will work.

I was a bit stuck with doing this because when I post to other forums I normally just click on "insert image" and select an image from my PC.
In this case I had to upload the photos to my (rarely used) Flikr account first.

So I hope this works

thanks for your advice.

Definitely looks like you've got your maker mark right, but Electropated ("EP" mark) wares are rarely dated. The numbers (5 digits) are probably internal references used by the firm to catalogue production information and not related to specific dating.

We inherited this years ago from my wife's Godmother.
We kept this because we liked it and are now curious about it.
Much of her stuff was Victorian (from her parents) and 1920s / 1930s from her own family.
So would we guess 1930s for this item?
I imagine it was once part of a set - but we have no recollection of other matching items.
