WMF mechanical pickle fork

New to forum and unsure how to post a pic.
I have a WMF mechanical picklefork which I would love to find the date of or some history. The hallmark is the typical ostrich running above the WMF initials. Below the initials is what looks to be a 9. This is a very very small mark which I could only see the details of through a jewelers magnifier. The pickle for otherwise has no other marks on it. Just this one stamp.
I have seen some mechanical pickle forks that look identical except the fork I have has a smooth 'middle' detail while others have a flared out middle. I've heard people say these were offered in a catalog. Is it possible for anyone to post a link that would help find the pattern this pickle fork is called and possibly the WMF hallmark history?
(hope this isnt against rules but Im posting a link to one that looks similar to my mechanical pickle fork however the one in the link has a flared out middle and a different hallmark. Mine has a smoother middle design and a very small stamp on the trident which when looked at thru a magnifier shows the WMF 9 with the ostrich running)
