Hi everybody,
I'm new to the forum but have used it many many times when researching pieces.........however I'm really stuck on this one! Its a piece of Russian enamel with this single mark......the first two characters seem to translate as L and U then a 5 and M but I can find nothing whatsover like this.I'm at my wits end so hopefully you can help..................Mark
Help with a mark....
Re: Help with a mark....
Hi and welcome,
The mark is from Soviet period and stands for
Ленинградская ювелирно-часовая фабрика - ЛЮ
Leningrad jewelry and watch factory
Additional letter ``M`` means the item was not made of any precious metal, being short for ``metal``.
There is very a knowlegable member here who might ad more info if he sees the post.
Kindest regards

Not much more to ad to what AG2012 already told you. Your object is made in 1965 and it is not silver.
