Hi i was wondering if some one could help?

I picked up some teaspoons at a charity shop and noticed the marks R&B and a picture of a lamp.

I did some research to find this was roberts and belk (or roberts and briggs?)
The thing is they have no other markings, 2 just have a lamp?

I am a complete noob and my silver knowledge revols around these spoons :( and now im stuck

Does the fact they have no other marks mean they are plated? Or are the forgeries? Or are the so old that it pre dated the other marks?

Thanks in advance for your help :) Image

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

As they lack any official hallmarks the spoons will be plated. They are the products of Roberts & Belk and this would likely be one of their earlier marks.
