Hi guys,
This is my first topic here. I need some information about marks on a kettle and a teapot. I didn't wanted to take your time , but didn't find the answer anywhere.
Please excuse me , I know it against the rules but I tried to upload several many my photos but the site says: It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.
I need to identify marks on a kettle
So this is a link to first image:

As I understand it is made on Sheffield on 22-th of April 1881. Is that correct ???
What means the other marks - B , S , the sun (or maybe a star?!?)
The second image is here:
(admin edit - one item per topic - see Posting Requirements )
Probably also made in Sheffield , but I can't understand more than this.
Thank you for your kind answers!
Please excuse me for the spelling mistakes.
Regards!
Sheffield manufactured ???
Re: Sheffield manufactured ???
Hi Zlak,
Welcome to the Forum.
The design mark indicates that the design was registered on that date, the item may have been made years after. 1881 is the earliest possible date only.
The item is silver-plated, the maker unknown to me.
Please start a new topic with your other item.
