I most often see .935 on small silver and jewelry that is German ca.1920 -1940.

Hi Himbeer,
I believe the 935 standard was used sometimes in Germany and Switzerland,

The handle looks a bit art deco, so perhaps 1930s.

I most often find 935 silver used on Swiss watch cases, but I have no knowledge in Swiss styles so I can't confirm your lorgnette was made there.

You should not forget that Switzerland borders both France and Germany :)

Hello, in view of the absence of other marks I feel this is most likely German, around 1930-40. Best wishes, Bahner
