I have got an Art Nouveau plaque from austria.
The piece has two hallmarks, the dianas head and a second mark.
The plaque is made of 900er silver and is from vienna ("a" letter besides dianas head)
Either the snake is a makers mark of a silversmith or an artist monogram.
It could be an E,M,W letter.
