I find on familysearch in Feibourg ( 1811) an "Orfevre" Theodale Hundhagen .
Probably a son of the maker EWH

Ernst-Wilhelm Hundeshagen (also Hundhagen, Hundshager, Hunzaguer etc.) who was born in Hesse-Kassel and granted privileges to work in Fribourg in 1740. De Vevey has very little other information, other than that his wife, Marie Lucie Köberlin, probably died in October 1798, and that he had three sons who were silversmiths: Jean Maximillian (1741 – ca. 1812), Joseph Gabriel (d. 1801) and (as you surmised) Joseph Théodule (1747-1823). It also notes that he converted to Catholicism.

I found very little in Kassel records for him, other than that he was the son of Cyriacus Hundeshagen, whom he sued over his deceased mother’s estate in 1750; the suit was mooted by the death of Cyriacus in November 1752.
