Hello, my first time posting, so I would like to introduce myself. I am a dealer and collector. I recently bought a 12 piece set that is very nice looking. the pieces are marked Davidson Fyson & McCune. I believe the hallmark is a London one due to the W and Lion.

Opened the link to both images.What hallmark did you see ? Beside maker`s name there is no lion.
I doubt it`s silver.

I think the name goes with a Butte, Montana retail jewelry company that also had a store in Salt Lake City, Utah. Is there a marking on it the shows the silver finess or is plated?

Piece is marked Sterling. Do you have a link or more info on that company? Chris

I'm only able to view one image, the others are showing a Photobucket error message. The image I can see shows the letter W in a circle with a left facing lion. This is the mark of the Whiting Manufacturing Company of New York.

As I can only see a small section of the pattern, I cannot be 100%certain. but think the cutlery is the 1891 design called Louis XV. Please see here:

Unfortunately I'm unable to comment on the retailer, Davidson Fyson & McCune as they are unknown to me.

The only thing I can suggest is googling Davidson Leyson & McCune.

The J.H. Leyson Co., of Salt Lake City, Incorporated

Salt Lake City, Utah, Oct. 2.—Articles of incorporation of the J. H. Leyson Co. have been filed in the office of the County Clerk. The object of the company is to manufacture and sell, at wholesale and retail, watches, clocks and jewelry. The main place of business is at Salt Lake City, but branch houses may be established any place in the Territory.

The capital stock is placed at $100,000, divided into 1,000 shares of the par value of $100 each. The following are the incorporators and the amount of stock each has taken: John H. Leyson, 332; Alfred W. McCune. 332; William H. Davidson, 330; Joseph L. Rawlins, 3; Hugh Mauldin, 3. J. H Leyson is president. A. W. McCune vice-president, and W. H. Davidson secretary and treasurer, who form the board of three directors.

The term of the company's existence shall be from the date of its incorporation. There is the usual precaution that the private property of the stockholders shall not be liable for the corporate liabilities.
