Hi,
They claim family owned business since 1895 but the mark ‚‚AD‚‚ was used since 1967. Prior to that the same mark was used by Gottlieb Kurz (‚‚GK‚‚).
I cannot find the connection, but that`s what you find elsewhere (old silver with ``GK``) and ``AD`` after 1967.

Hallo Trev and AG2012,

Ah….. so it's family of each other, so that's solved.
Forgiveness is human.

Now a response to the AG2012 statement.
I can not find the connection, to the mark ‘’ AD’’

Is that also family or is that a mistake too? :)))

Hello again,
Gottlieb Kurz Founded - 1895
Succeeded by Arthur Möhrle in 1967

I do not know what exactly happened in 1967 in regard of succession or possible family ties, but new owners continued using the mark and``GK`` was changed to ``AM`` in 1967.
Hoping it`s clear now.
