Hi
I am a new member using this forum for the first time. I have always found the information on this site incredibly helpful but I can't seem to find any information on this piece at all. I have searched this site and others. I have also acquired various pieces of literature and still can't find any information on the country of origin, maker, or date the object was manufactured.
I purchased the item some time ago now and bought it as a pierced PAS & Co Dish. It is really nice and fits in with my collection perfectly. I would really like to know more about it.
Any advice or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
All the best
Matt

Re: Country? Maker? Date ? Pierced PAS & Co. Silver Dish
Hi Matt,
Welcome to the Forum.
Just to get the ball rolling, the dish bears London import marks for 1909. The importer being P.A. Schroepfer & Co. (Paul Arthur Schroepfer), 91a, Hatton Garden, London.
See: http://www.925-1000.com/importmarks.html
The dish is undoubtedly of Hanau manufacture.

Trev,
Thank you for your prompt reply and apologies for not being more thorough when searching the site. I was way off with my thoughts about country of manufacture. Thank you again.
All the best

The first mark appears on your dish, the second is well documented B.Neresheimer &Sohne, Hanau, founded 1893.
