I have inherited a plate from my grandfather. The hallmarks show a tree (or possibly a flower) on the left and a GH on the right (The H is worn at the top so it could be another letter). Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. My grandfather was German so its origin fits nicely. Any idea on the age of the plate or the other mark?
