Hi,
This heavy jug (484 gramm) has a townmark and a mastermark HCB. High: 13,4 cm. The mark in the middle near the centremark is a Dutch taxmark (ZII) for re-entering the market.
Who could it be? Could it be a Hamburger master?
Regards,
Zilverik

Hi,
Thank you very much Theoderich! And I am glad that my idea that it could be Hamburg appears to be right. That you could find the master is very special. Even in Schefflers book, Goldschmiede Niedersachsens, the mark shown is not compleet. And yet it is obvious. Great!
