Help with a French gold maker

Postby asheland » Wed Jul 19, 2017 12:15 pm

I am trying to research this piece for a friend.
It's 18K and French but I cannot find this maker's mark.
Can anyone help?

I believe this maker is Leon Tournan. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have a picture of his mark? Or any biography information?

Thanks!

I'm also finding works by Louis Tronquoy. Is this possibly the maker?

Hi Zilver2
may I ask you for clarification
La bijouterie fantaisie en doublé
As far as I know it should mean: Fancy jewelery in plated metal.
Why there is the hallmark of Hippocrates, for the solid gold?
Thank for attention

Hi,

This silversmith had also had a mark for silverplate.
Hope this helps.
