Identification Help with Hallmark-Grapefruit Spoon?

Post by chris99460 »

I have this gorgeous sterling spoon dated 1895. I believe it is for grapefruit? I could really use some help identifying who the maker is and any other information about the spoon. As always, I very much appreciate the help and value your expertise. Below are pictures of the spoon and hallmarks:

The spoon seems to be American and I believe the maker to be TOWLE.

The name of the pattern is "Colonial" by Towle Manufacturing Company, silversmiths, Newburyport, Mass.
