1920 Sterling silver coin purse

Post by captainzombie »

HI, I'm new here, forgive me if I do or say anything ignorantly but I am new to silver markings and such... all aside I have a Sterling silver Coin and Powder purse. it has 2 stamps on it, one is 1920, the other sterling followed by what looks to be a R B(with a line or something through the B) and CO... all 3 are boxed... then the numbers 8282, or it could be 82R2... I am unsure. I've looked online extensively and am going nuts trying to find the maker of this beautiful peace of antiquity. Of course I have more than 2 pictures, but the "how to" add picture only said 2... If there needs to be more pictures just ask... Also I'm not an expert at photography, so I hope these markings are clear enough... they are really tiny and all I have is my Phone to take them. I also have a sterling silver wallet that I have yet to discover what the markings are on it, but I really haven't tried to find out... I'm just really interested in this piece. the other one says Sterling B (with what looks like a Triton spear through it) and the numbers 17.... maybe it's the same company... but the B in the pictures shown above doesn't look like it's a Triton spear to me. I'd appreciate any help you can offer... I appreciate it tremendously. :D and thank you.
