Hi,
Seeking some information regarding this Tiffany set:
Not sure if this was a named pattern. The engraving has been partially erased, but still the date of 1879 remains visible.
Any information gratefully received.

Re: Seeking Tiffany Information
Trev, I don't know for sure, but it looks like it could be a variation of what might be a multi motif pattern, Audubon.
Re: Seeking Tiffany Information
Brilliant Silverly, that does indeed appear to be the pattern. Many thanks.

Re: Seeking Tiffany Information
This is the multi-motif 'Japanese' pattern, designed by Edward C. Moore in 1871 (patent #D4831), it was reintroduced as 'Audubon' in 1956 in a shinier finish and without the little protruding knobs where the stem meets the handle...

Thanks Cheryl! I have always called my service "Audubon" but will now rename it as all the pieces were collected prior to 1920.
Re: Seeking Tiffany Information
Thanks Cheryl.
The items belong to a friend and I could not make out from the images what is now obviously the word 'Pat.'. I was thinking that the '1871' may have been an internal number.
I'm all the wiser thanks to your input and I'll pass the information along.

Re: Seeking Tiffany Information
Lucky you, Jim! It's a lovely pattern regardless, but the old 'Japanese' is particularly nice...
