Help with mark -- Lion Rampant inside a capital letter?

Post by adk707 »

Hello, everyone!

I am having the hardest time identifying a mark. I believe it is Scottish as it features a lion rampant, however the lion is facing right and appears to be inside an open capital letter T or J or just an open-edged shield. The mark is absolutely tiny on the small silver basket (candy dish / nut bowl with a handle?). I am placing photos below. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!

Well, that seems fairly obvious now. Can't believe I missed it.
Thanks for the correct direction. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a true Scottish piece.

:)
