Date Mark on tiny Salt & Pepper shakers

Post by Manyfacets70 »

Hello All,

First post here, I hope I do this right.

I have a very small pair of salt and pepper shakers and I can't figure out the date mark on them. Any help would really be appreciated. I can't tell if it's a "B" or a "G" for starters. And then if I do use either of those letters, I can't seem to find a year that goes with that letter.

Anyway, any help would REALLY be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

They are not Birmingham assayed pieces, but American.

See Gorham at: http://www.925-1000.com/Gorham_Date_Code.html
