Silver Candelabra, strange hallmarks

Postby finesilver » Wed Aug 14, 2019 10:50 pm

Good evening, I'm long time reader, first time poster. I usually find various silver items at thrift stores and have always found everyone's post informative. Try as I might, no amount of googling has helped me find the maker of this piece. Nothing but three abstract hallmarks. Thank you in advance

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

They are the marks of F.W. Quist of Esslingen:

Ah, thank you! It makes much more sense right side up. I appreciate the help!
