Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Perhaps Gebruder Hepp?

Can anyone read the additional mark beneath the maker mark? Begins with "G"...maybe GH or G???. Personally, I see GELT, but that can't be right.

Hi, Trev - on the spot (as always, I should say). This reads "Gebr. Hepp", the sickle mark on the left hand side is one of the early Hepp marks, used I believe until the beginning of the 20th century. Another early Hepp mark was two sickles, crossed (sorry, no pic available). This is certainly silver plate. Regards, Bahner
