Cunard White Star by Elkington

Sorry I didn't get the base trays, but these two dome covers will have to suffice on their own. The larger one at 11" extreme is date coded with the shielded "D" (late '30's) and the other at 7 1/2" carries "M" (late '40's) with ENGLAND added above. The styles are noticeably different, especially the handles, with the first being rather deco and the other pretty much minimalist simple (or mid-century modernized). The big question is whether either can be linked to a specific vessel(s) of the fleet ir were they general stock.
