Hello,

I need some help identifying some flatware - forks and spoons that I think are Russian made.

I did not find any info regarding the hallmarks on them but I know that 84 is a Russian silver marking.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,
It`s not Russian.
Although the pattern looks the same marks are different; 84 g is most likely French indicating 84 grams of silver used to electroplate the set.
A1 is found on British silver plate indicates the best quality of silver plating (thick deposit of pure silver over base metal).

The English mark appears to read 'BEASON' and find it attributed to 'Beason & Sons' - not a firm I'm familiar with...

The third and the last letter on the right look the same, and if the last letter in N, then the name is BENSON, but still unknow to me in this form, although there were BENSONS (both silversmiths and silver platers)

Ahhh, does look more like 'Benson" - perhaps a J.W. Benson mark?
