Can anyone help me identify this stamp on an 1890 Gorham silver soldered platter. I know Gorham's silver soldered products were used in hotels and on cruise liners. This particular stamp looks like two globes side by side. I think it might be a cruise liner logo, but I was wondering if anybody knew the name.

Thank you

Hi,

Well done with the images.

It's the 1893 Gorham date mark. See: http://www.925-1000.com/Gorham_Date_Code.html

Wow! You're good. I've been trying to figure this out for weeks. I'll definitely tell my friends and family about this forum.

Thanks again!
