Hi!

Does anyone know what these symbols mean in the photo?
I just checked Dublin Date Letter Chart have founded symbol "M" - I believe it is Dublin 1769.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

It's pewter. The mark on the left is that of The Association of British Pewter Craftsmen, and that on the right is that of the Worshipful Company of Pewterers.

Always embed your images, as very few people will click on such links.

Hi,

Not really sure, but perhaps part of a date letter system?:

The Association of British Pewter Craftsmen was founded in 1970, and I believe the 'Seahorse' mark has only been in use since 1980.
