ID help needed, PGS footed tray

Post by RoyJ99 »

I have this footed tray which I'm trying to find out a maker for. The mark has been rubbed quite a bit so is not the clearest but it is a Crown followed by an unknown symbol, followed by PGS which I'm assuming is Plated German Silver.

Please have a look at the pics and any help is appreciated.

Roy

Hi Roy,

The mark is for Silber & Fleming of London:

Trev has posted a very informative topic on the company:

Thanks admin. Little bit older than I had placed it, thought it was probably art-deco period. Bargain at £2.50 then :)
