I got a ladle with two marks and without a finess mark. Befor I destroy the surface for a silver assay, I would ask you for your opinion: Is it possibly a silver plated ladle? And if yes, have somebody an idea for the two marks. On the top of the diamond mark you can see "8M" or maybe "8MF". So and now the pictures.
Kind regards

Silver plated??
Re: Silver plated??
Hi Goldresearch,
It's one of those marks, that if you stare at it for long enough, you can see something different. Did you see the 'Bear'? Could that be 'BMF' above the bear?

Or am I seeing things?
