I acquired these earrings this morning.
I think that they are Iraqi .800 silver
My first query is are they actually Iraqi...
My second query is why they don't have the national mark on them...
My third, and final, query is if anyone knows who made these earrings.
The mark on the ear wire:
The mark on the dangle:
The earrings that have the marks:

Does anyone know when/where/by who these earrings were made?

Hi,
The marks appear to be Egyptian, and likely second half of the 20th Century, beyond that it would be difficult to say without clearer images.

Here is a cleaner view (I removed the "red stuff") of the mark on the dangle:
*Please note* I do not know which way is up on this mark... So please look at it from multiple angles.

The first mark on the ear wire is an exact match to the first mark in the picture of Iraqi hallmarks on 925-1000.com...
The pictures that I posted of the marks are crystal clear, but if they need to be larger, let me know.
If they were made in Egypt (or if they are Iraqi), I am wondering why the national mark is not on the piece.
Thank you...

Hi Bill,
Let's hope another member well-versed with Middle East marks can cast some light on the subject.
