Help with a "Victorian purse"

Post by enjoy_the_silence »

Hi guys!

I am new to the forum and need a bit of help to identify the markings on a Victorian purse I recently purchased.
The purse has the marking of the letter "D" encased in a diamond shape. (see photo) and 1030
The purse is tiny and is made of some sort of cat fur (Geoffery cat?) Please let me know if there is any information on the marking of this purse. I have searched for any information, dates, ect. Haven't found anything.
Much appreciated!
