Hello, I think this reads;
Made of sterling
Made in London (1300-Present)
In the year 1762
Having no import or duty marks makes sense, right?
Also, I am finding it very difficult to uncover who's maker mark that would be? Could I get some help?
British hail marks and makers mark help please

Thanks Steve, I appreciate the help. Would you be able to tell me about the gold watch mechanics? I’m confused to why it read M. Dexter (if I’m reading that right)

Dexter was the watchmaker. Watchmakers did not, in general, make their own watch cases but bought them in from specialist case makers.
