anyone able to help

Post by Nikki.81 »

I have a silver pendant that belonged to my grandad. It's a silver ingot with the makers mark JMR. It has a lions head, then a lion, then a letter C and a queens head facing left.
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. It's very sentimental to me. I also know that my nan had a smaller version of the same pendant.

After searching online all morning I'm guessing it was made in London 1977 ? I can not seem to find any reference to the JMR at all

The maker is most probably John M Reynolds Jewelers, Hatton Garden, London.

On John M. Reynolds website, he mentions having over "25 years' experience", which would likely indicate a working start date of around 1990. His Hatton Garden shop was opened in 2005.
