Been looking around awhile but can't find anything about N. F. or the mark with the lion in shield.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi Dandelion,

Welcome to the Forum.

It's Norwegian, Norsk Filigransfabrik of Kristiania.

Thank Trev!

This confirms my thoughts, considering that the lion hallmark resembles the national emblem of Norway. Plus the enamel and filigree work feels very Norwegian. :)

Again thanks!

Norsk Filigransfabrik - Christiania - 1902

Established in 1889 until 1931. The company was dormant between the years 1906-1910.

Johan Lund (1861-1939), a silversmith and designer with David Andersen, was a director of Norsk Filigransfabrik from 1894 until 1898.
