MK 925 Necklace 1977 - Unknown Maker / Assay

Post by barnsite »

Hi, I have a necklace that is marked MK 925 and C - which I've interpreted to be - Silver 1977. I can't find the maker or work out what the mark is between the 925 and the date letter. I'm sure I've seen it before, but I can't find it again.

Any help much appreciated!

Cheers, Graham

Hi Graham,

Welcome to the Forum.

I can't help with the sponsor, but the other mark is the London import mark.

See: http://www.925-1000.com/importmarks.html

Hi Trev,

Thanks, I knew I'd seen it somewhere! I love researching items, and I hate it when I can't find all the details.

The makers mark is NK not MK going on the photo, but unfortunately, I also have no info on the maker.

Found one with the same design and marks, other than the bars just go from long to short from the middle out. Sold as "probably Scandinavian"
