Hi all

I am assuming this is silver. Can anyone help me with the marks? Thanks

Russian marks are not my area of expertise. However 18k is usually a gold mark. However I doubt what you have is gold, or silver. It is most probably something like aluminum. Could you estimate the size compared for example to an american penny, then weigh it. I think you will find it is too light to be silver or gold.

Sorry to disappoint you but it is neither a gold nor a silver mark. Most likely some alloy of non-valuable metals. The mark is simply the price (Цена) 18 kopek. In the former USSR they marked the price like this on almost everything for sale.
The text says POLTAVA, a battlefield where the Russians beat the Swedes 1709. It is located in mid Ukraine.

Aluminum badge in honor of one of the first ships of the Russian navy - "Poltava". "Poltava" - is the ship's name in honor of the great victory (A.S.Pushkin©))).
Factory "LenEmaljer"(?) (ЛенЭмальер) from Leningrad.
