Charles Horner 1 off Masonic Medal

Post by james.s.jarman »

Hello everyone,

I have inherited a number of items and in amongst them is a masonic/RAOB medal, presented to my great great grandfather for his services as treasurer to the RAOB Hallifax. The medal is gold and silver, it has Chester Assay markings , is date stamped 1894 and marked with Charles Horner makers marks. I have spend hours online trying to find another piece like it, to no avail. This leads me to believe it is a one off commissioned piece. The dates, marks and locations all match for the period.

Best regards,
