Cannot find info on this mark

Post by yoopergal »

I LOVE this site... Thank you so much for providing all of the info!

I've searched here and a few other sites, but can't seem to find any info on this particular marking.

There's what looks like a decorative "PT," weight scales with 925 underneath, another 925, and a tiny crown.

Thanks for any info you can help with!

Hi welcome to the forum,

International Hallmarking Convention & Common Control Marks (Convention of Vienna 1972)
From left to right; PT the responsibility (maker or sponsor mark), the common control mark for 925 fineness (sterling) silver, followed by the fineness declared by the maker 925 and the last mark I believe to be The Triple towered castle of Edinburgh (1976-present).
You have a fine Scottish pendant with an amber glass stone.

Oel.

I may be mistaken, but don't you mean 'locket'? Can we see the inside?
