I'm unsure as to whether the images will show, so here is a link to them if not https://imgur.com/a/KFdNU1n

All i know about this watch up to now, is the case is silver and someone suggested the maker could be A·G·R: Arthur George Rendell for Robert Pringle & Sons as referenced here http://www.vintagewatchstraps.com/sponsorsmarks.php

I was curious as to whether this could be a ww1 watch? It looks similar to some i've seen but i realise it may well not be, it's just a guess.
The watch is missing its winder and one pointer.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,
The watch case has post 1904 import marks, assayed in Edinburgh (symbol X), the shape of date letter started with A in 1906 and ended with Z in 1930. AGR is sponsor`s mark of known importer of watch cases Arthur George Rendell (also in London) who was registered in 1926.

That`s all I can tell.

Just to clarify,it`s sponsor`s mark (importer) here, not maker`s mark.
