I would love to have any information about these cufflinks. In researching these cufflinks, I have learned that one of the three marks tells where it is from: Crown = Sheffield. Another hallmark is a lion and that was an early English mark for purity. These say, “STERLING” and have the lion. The Date mark is a letter. Sheffield used Calligraphy styled ornate letters from 1773-1791. Those were the years that were harder to read. I believe these to have the mark from 1787. These cufflinks are in beautiful condition. The front white enamel has an intricate spirograph-like design. It is pearlesque, and the boarder color is a very light green, almost white. I cannot show a picture of the hallmark or the cuffs, this site won't let me... Does anyone know about these, or where I can go to show the hallmark to get information.

Thank you! That was fast, and it looks like the mark on my cufflinks.
