Help with mark ID on a sterling ring.

Post by mikenotar46 »

Hi, I found this ring with a metal detector around a 1902 school no longer in use. It is marked sterling and a mark I can't find. The front of the ring appears to be enamel and it has a flower design. I hope the picture is clear enough. Its the best my camera can do. I'd appreciate any help IDing the mark. Thanks, mike

Vargas

Gosh that's awful close. Except for the connecting line across the top its perfect. Unless someone else knows different I think it must be a variation of Vargas. Thank you very much.
