Japan - Genuine Damascene

Good Day, I'm picking up on this older thread hoping to receive some information on a Damascene piece I recently aquired. I have found the same makers mark on the Makers Mark Project site Fred have linked below. I was hoping I could get a translation. Additionally, I've not seen a design like the one I have and wondered about that as well. Any information on my piece would be wonderful.
