Any help determining where this vase was made would be greatly appreciated. It is marked 800 on the bottom. There are some markings around the neck that I have included as well. Thanks in advance!

It's similar to Indonesian Yogya silver. See here http://www.925-1000.com/a_yogya.html
Best regards. Alex.

Thank you Alex for your response. The fourth photo shows an image of a half moon and star which is why I thought it might be Middle Eastern. Any other thoughts?

I agree with Alex, it certainly looks like Yogya silver.

The star and moon are hard to see in the photo. The star and crescent moon is one of the major symbols of Islam, the majority faith in Indonesia.

The inscription around the neck is very hard to make out from the photos, perhaps the OP could transcribe it and post it, as that would be a determining factor in making a definite identification.

The language on the band is Turkish.

I believe that Bassoy, Okan, Kaplongi and Gurtunca are personal names. Bingol is the name of both a Turkish city and a province.

It may be that the band was added so I don't know if the item is Turkish.

Hope this helps

Thank you both for your replies. Yes, it does appear that the band is applied. I too found that the writing consists mostly of Turkish surnames. Perhaps this was a presentation piece as when I looked closer I can make out the date 1952. Thanks again, I appreciate the help. - Angela
