I’ve kept looking at this mark until it was determined to be Tanner & Cooley of Utica, NY.

Decorative Italian Bowl

This bowl is about 9” or 22.8cm across the top and weighs 509g. The mark is in plain sight on the upper and outer portion of the bowl. I will be happy to learn absolutely anything more about this piece. https://i.ibb.co/NjhLPyf/IMG-3159.jpg https://i.ibb.co/kBxSMWP/IMG-3161.jpg https://i.ibb.co/LrLF...

Lullaby

I bought a porringer today that is marked Lullaby Sterling and S259. Looking into the Lullaby trademark has made me suspicious of the way many people refer to items by Lullaby Sterling because it’s too varied. Listing what I think are discrepancies probably won’t accomplish much. Instead here is wha...

Re: sterling

The trademark is Simpson I think and they were one of the many companies taken over by International. The sterling mark refers the purity, 925/1000 silver.

Looks like a Dominick & Haff trademark. As for age, I can only guess 1940's.

There was a Washburn Jewelry Co in Anderson, Indiana from at least the early twentieth century. Very doubtful that it is solid silver. Seems unique and might be of local interest.

Thank you very much for the information. I’m away from home right now and not in a position to get a better close up. However the image of the mark that I’ve posted looks like it has script on the left hand side. It is great to know this much about the spoon.
