Re: Help ID mark

I use Clorine, magnet and finally acid tet. It is plated but I had to "dig" a bit to reach the no silver metal and test it with acid. I dont want to do it again. Next Ill run gravity test by Arquimidis principle.

Thank you!

Looking for some info

About a marker mark in south america, probably Uruguay. Name is "Arte Plata". They have a jewelers company still working but I couldnt find their history yet. I want to know if they were working on silver crafts.

I would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Re: Candlestick hard to ID

Here is the best I can do Oel. It seems like pseudo marks or they are just too fuzzy. About the mark that is like a bunch of scratches any clue from it? I saw a very similar mark here: http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html Stork & Sinsheimer. https://www.925-1000.com/pics/Ximg.jpg ...

I have this pendant long time ago but didnt post it because the mark wasnt clear. Now i can pretty sure that it is a bull with...

Re: Christofle fruit bowl

Interesting, thx Dognose. I know this is an old piece, probably from the end of S XIX. The monogram is from a family well known in my country, a former president.
