I was recently given the name Hemill Silverware Inc.,but can't find anything about this company except NY,NY 1920-1930.
Anybody else got more data on this company.

I know--I have tried looking every where for these marks and have had no luck. It would seem that as many folks have silver items,somebody would know. If I knew even what country or date, it would be a start. All I know is that it is prob. 100 yrs old.

I recently inherited a silver plated vase. I don't know anything about it.
It has Dutch scenes etched all along the bottom and along the top. The only marks are H S G (or C) with each of the letters enclosed in a box-like design shaped like a little house. Also the number 5610 is below the letters ...
