Hi :) Thank you both for the information, one more quick question on the 3 towered castle...I have a set of spoons then marked with the 3 towers & "74" beneath it...can I assume that's for 1874, or is it possible it's 1974? Takk skal du ha, Anita

Hi, Myriam, some more info for you--I keep a library of sorts of item's I've come across, and I was able to cross check your pen with both Møller & Tostrup...it's definitely the same pattern as Tostrup, so either the piece was made by him or it's the same pattern manufactured by another designer ...

Hi :) I've heard the acorn referred to as a pomegranate as well as a "pineapple erect..." it's the city mark for Augsburg, Germany, pre-1886. The "I" is likely a date letter, I'm not familiar enough with German marks to give you an exact date though. Hope that helped some, & good luck :)

Hi, Gosh what a beautiful piece. I don't know who the maker is, but I can tell you the piece is Scandinavian, in the Dragestil style (literally, dragon-style).
