My daughters friend sent me these pictures of a pendant and ring, trying to figure out the mark . She was told they were German and the material thats engraved is amber.? I thought it odd that a symbol associated with a rising sun would be placed below a letter ( M ) rather than above a letter ( W ) and I saw the example you mentioned but was hoping something new had popped up. Thanks

Picked this Bolo Tie up at a garage sale and it tests as silver but I cannot find the maker. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for that info on maker, now if I could only figure out what the medal was for and why there is inscribed on the back 440 Yds ( figured a British terr would be metric) Thanks again.

I'm trying to research this police medal and any and all info would be appreciated, The marks are showing possible a Birmingham maker (anchor) (which doesnt seem strange as the gold coast was still under british control) but thats as far as I was able to get. I've searched thru all of the marks listed and have been unable to find much about these two spoons, The other one I've found nothing on but also tests silver but I have my doubts.
