Re: Unidentified marks

I know that Schwaebisch gmünd used the unicorn hallmark, but do you think there was a master who wrote his name in Cyrillic?
How common is it in German?

Unidentified marks

Dear Collegues! I friend asked me, try to identify the maker and the origin of this sewing compendium. There is interesting, because the town mark is a unicorn, and the maker's mark is cyrillic. I think, it's the and of the 18. century, or maybe the beginning of the 19. http://i65.tinypic.com/302qq9...

It's important, because if we try to identify the maker, we have to know, where he worked. Best regar...

Re: 18th century candlestick Austro-Hungarian

Dear AG2012. This is a typical altar candlestick from the middle of the 18. century. I see numerous pieces from Austria-Hungary and Germany. But I don't see any marks, that suggest fineness. Re: Silver Snuff Box Of Unknown origin

Can you make a better picture about the city mark?
I'm collecting the pre 1867 antique hungarian hallmarks, and I don't have Nyitra 1835. Or it is 1836?
Thank you in advance!
BEst regards!
